I vote Yes on this as well. I would love to know which of my rings ( maybe both?) are causing the trouble...I've yet to find out that status of my particular order so any information in that regard would be VERY helpful!

my S4 is the i337 model and my unlock spot (the most accurate one) is about 1.5" or 3.8CM from the bottom, and about 1" or 2.5 CM from the right edge. I only have one phone so I cannot snap a photo showing it.
My ring works best in a perpendicular/vertical orientation with the middle of the tag at the very top (or bottom) of the ring touching the hotspot. I have the original back plastic cover (no extra cases)...hope that helps

I have heard your updates about pulling someone off the packaging line to do something like this means a slowdown in rings shipped. Surely tho you know that PVD rings fall into a category, as do Stealth bomber rings, as do I think the transparent rings...really I guess I was just asking for a list of "problem rings " so you could point people to it and say " if you ordered one of these rings we are doing this and that"...more self help than individual help.

One thing that a jeweler could do (with traditional jewelry) is add what some refer to as "speed bumps" to the inside of the ring. they allow for a slightly smaller finger to still 'grip' the ring to stay in place. Granted titanium is not a metal in this category so maybe there is some other lower tech solution that would work and would not damage the ring.
@lars.albrecht they would need to know which rings you ordered.
So far if your a Black Ring, Transparent ring, a Carbon fiber ring, or stealth bomber ring the factory screwed up and we are "waiting" ( someone please correct me if I am wrong.

My guess is I will get nothing, because it is not a completed set ( and will not be for a hell of a long time) they simply will not ship until it is filled
I am starting to get a little more frustrated at the process tho.
I know there is nothing to be done, and I know the folks @ NFC ring are not to blame, so should I just wait for 6 months and see if I get my ring by next October?
Hell Ill pay for shipping, whatever it takes to get something in my hands. If ordering a different ring is needed I'll do that.
Honestly if you were in my place do you have a better recommendation as to what I should do? Suck it up and wait for something that right now isn't even being made, is not acceptable. I don't want to be 'taken care of' because I'm being a 'squeaky wheel' some sort of notification as to our status really needs to be thought about and SENT.
E-mail while not 100% free ( it takes someone's time and energy) explaining that I am in a group that simply wont get anything ( due to circumstances beyond control) is warranted.
@Lokki glad that an update of sorts might come sooner rather than later, as an experiment I did pre-order and we shall see if I get the pre-order before the backer order. In the end a ring in my hands is better than nothing. i'll let you know what happens when it comes.

@d3ac0n I understand your frustration and have been saying things like this for the last two weeks or so. I do want to defend Lokki and the guys as without them I would be 100% clueless at the WTF is going on with my exact ring(s). Just so you know the PVD issue means no ring, at all, is being made..yet. Hopefully word of something will com much sooner than later

The e-mail does not specify what the problem is/was, does not confirm to the customer that their individual ring is important, does not answer any questions. It does express that NFC ring team is sorry which I understand and appreciate but that doesn't actually help em in any way shape or form.
Observations:
I had ordered two black plated rings Which Lokki advised would become titanium replacements...if that is the case then I have neither the Alpha issue, nor the PVD issue, nor any other explanation for why my two classic rings have not been sent.
I like the company,I think the owner is a trustworthy individual, I even pre-ordered Yet ANOTHER RING ( titanium), but we need to work on the communication skills in e-mail, I offer my insight only to help. If it hurts someones feelings for rejecting their effort that is not the intent.

@Lokki HIya ! What I meant in item 2 is that e-mail said I'll have my ring in 4 weeks. However the video was a bit more doubtful as to if and when more rings would be coming in before the 10th or 11th of July and that the new factory(s) is(are) really probably a month or so away (late july or early August was mentioned) from issuing a prototype. There seems to be a disconnect in timing between what John was saying vs what the e-mail said.
@Chris your statement is fair, your explanation is accurate, what more could I ask for? Communications sometimes mean telling the same guy(s)//ladies in different way that he/she has not been forgotten. I do not feel forgotten any more.
Just wanted to update @Lokki and others that I received the ring I per-ordered in June (around the 19th or so) this Thursday ( july 3rd ) I also saw a message that potentially my two ring order may be coming, no e-mail on that yet.
I've been playing around with the S4 phone and the heat map is pretty accurate. I will be trying it out on other devices as soon as I get back to the lab where I work.
The good:
I got a ring hallelujah! Thank goodness I got a ring to use!
The so-so:
As expected it will not scan through my Mophie case, this was expected.. but irritating.
The ugly:
I got the single preorder ring in less than 3 weeks, still no sign of the KS rings, as of the 13th of July that would be almost 1 year to the day. I say this not to incite people's anger just simpl that yes it'll take a while but they are indeed making rings and sending them out to people. Hang in there!
@NFCringTom no worries then ! At least I know your working on it and us two ring folks have not been forgotten!

Support has come here and helped me and several others figure out what is going on, Lokki has been great at helping people know perhaps what the issue is. So don't panic quite yet.

@jasok2 your carbon fiber rings will be replaced by titanium ( see this thread above) the reason the 3000 rings didnt fix the problem is the had a really high failure rate....

Good news without any notice my rings arrived.
Lets wrap up what I have learned with this kickstarter journey
The Pros:
A nice lightweight rings that has to date read 2 phones and 2 Android tablets
Met and interacted with both the lead designer & a fantastic volunteer ( @lokki that is all you man)
In the end I got what I ordered and it functions in the devices I have used.
The Cons:
Dear lord communication was either a fire-hose ( difficult to sift through there was so much) or the Sahara desert ( no communication about my kickstarter order had shipped, break in updates). The only means of communications was to: open and read the kickstarter forums, read/ listen to the bi-weekly updates & visit this forum. to many places to go to get info about 1 project.
Take my criticism with a grain of salt, we are all human and make mistakes( many certainly not NFC Ring co ltd fault) but with no one else to hear our pleas this was the only spot to vent on.
I wish you all nothing but the best, i'll continue to lurk about and keep testing things..but I will drop out of this thread for the others that may wish for answers.
