When will I get my rings?

There will be an update out soon. probably you have transparent Alphas and those are delayed as the factory produced them with the wrong inlays. just stay tuned for the update

I have the following on my Kickstarter order:
Normal (Classic) Ring in Titanium Normal Color Metal with a White top inlay cover and a Black bottom inlay cover in USA Ring Size 9.5
Alpha Ring in Titanium Normal Color Metal with a White top inlay cover and a Silver bottom inlay cover in USA Ring Size 9.5
Normal (Classic) Ring in Black Plated Metal with a Black top inlay cover and a Black bottom inlay cover in USA Ring Size 10.5 -
I had an alpha titanium with transparent/carbon fiber. I'm almost convinced that my ring will be the last Kickstarter one sent out.

After multiple emails and messages, is it too hard to get an eta on my rings? I'm getting tired of "wait for an update" and "soon"... I would like someone to look at what I have ordered and give me an eta. If it means you ship the ones you do have and the remaining ones later, then so be it, but it is unfair to keep people waiting without any decent news.

Well, from reading that...I guess I have a long wait....Alpha size 11, not to mention the CF problem.

Yea sorry @Memnoch the alpha issues took us completely by surprise, although we did get 30% alphas or so through QA so you might be getting yours sooner rather than later!
FYI your order is NORMAL-T-W-B-9.5, ALPHA-T-B-B-9.5, NORMAL-B-B-B-10.5, it will have been changed to NORMAL-T-W-B-9.5, ALPHA-T-B-B-9.5, NORMAL-T-B-B-10.5.. It shouldn't be a huge problem fulfilling that order but it's just a case of waiting for the re-polishing and all we can do is wait for China to get them done and sent them back to us ;(
It's a sucky situation for everyone involved, the only good news is that when you get your ring your experience should be relatively seamless as many before you have filed bugs / documented issues etc. so we have put lots of improvements in place... Again though, I know it's not ideal but I just want you to know while you/we are waiting we're working on improvements and not sitting around twiddling our thumbs..

I don't understand, are you saying that is what you have as my order..?? If so, it is wrong.

@johnyma22 Is there any reason why you cannot ship what you do have?
Also, please don't get me wrong... my frustration isn't directly towards you because I know the manufacturers screwed up. However, I do think you could make things a little better for the backers and ship what you do have rather than waiting to send everything in one go.

@johnyma22 Sorry, what I meant was that you could ship the normal rings and then when the alphas are sorted you send them separately (ie. for my case send the two normals now and then the alpha whenever).
That way those who are eagerly waiting, at least have something to play with whilst the factory fix their mistake.
However, I suppose this would incur additional costs, so I guess that is why it hasn't been done.

Ok so I have two kickstarter rings:
1 x NFC Ring 1 x ALPHA MAN SIZE RING on Tom's recommendation I changed it to:
On the 24th of March my order was confirmed:
Normal (Classic) Ring in Black Plated Metal with a Black top inlay cover and a Black bottom inlay cover in USA Ring Size 12.5
Normal (Classic) Ring in Black Plated Metal with a Black top inlay cover and a Black bottom inlay cover in USA Ring Size 13So why would this be so delayed? I thought 2 black rings would be easy... is this the the PVD ring issue? Should I change my order?

Hi @Zackis, yep that's the pvd issue.
What will happen is you'll get a titanium ring instead in the same size as each ring ordered, and there will be a blog post later detailing how to request ring vouchers for those who've been affected like this. This will be after ks and pre orders have been fulfilled and when things are in normal operation so it'll be a very straightforward process to obtain a voucher, redeem it and have the requested ring sent out by mail.
Don't change your order at this time, you'll be able to do that with the ring vouchers later. The Rings you do get now are being considered temporary replacements that you get to keep.
