Hi guys!
I've made a video to help you setup the unlock app.
Please leave me some feedback and tell me how I can improve for future versions.

RE: Android Lollipop Trusted Device + NFC Ring = perfect
Hi @Wolfgang
I suggest using either the NFC ring lock screen or the stock Android one with trusted device. Since you have a Nexus device use the stock lock screen and the trusted device functionality since it provides a bit more security then the app.
Let us know if this solves your problem.

RE: Unlock app improvements list
I think it's a system sound so the only way to would be some systems settings. sadly android has no such setting.

RE: Unlock was working, now I have to use my pin instead
It seems like your tag is either overwritten or some application is stopping the unlock app from registering the ring.
please try to remove the tag in the unlock app an then add it again. Please note that the tag which is used for unlocking (with the NFC ring unlock app) can not be used for something different than unlocking.
hope this helps.

RE: Locked out of my phone, no way to get in
you need to use the google account on which your phone is registered. Please also double check whether you write an capital letter at the beginning (due to automatic behaviour of the keyboard) as login credentials are case sensitive.
maybe @johnyma22 has some other tips -
RE: Locked out of my phone, no way to get in
If you have a phone with a newer Android version (I believe 5.0 or above) you can use the system integrated lock screen with the ring as a trusted device.
The NFC Ring team worked really hard to get this functionality in the core version of Android. -
RE: NFC ring & NFC Reader writer

RE: HTC Droid DNA- normal sized ring difficult to read while worn
Thanks for sharing your impressions with the ring. we generally noticed that newer phones and tablets have less difficulties to read the normal ring than older phones.
to change to an alpha you will have to mail support@nfcring.com it shouldn't be a problem.

RE: My V1NTAGE NFC ring does not work with my phone (OnePlus 3) can you help?
Weird... If both tags work fine on a different device, then it's the fault of the device. It's generally difficult to have good nfc in a full meal body device. Maybe post the question over at oneplus.net in the forums.

RE: My V1NTAGE NFC ring does not work with my phone (OnePlus 3) can you help?
have you tried rolling the ring over the spot where it registers? sometimes rolling the ring will help. Also try holding it ontop of the spot and turn it.

Will it register the ring if you hold it right on top of the camera lens?

RE: My V1NTAGE NFC ring does not work with my phone (OnePlus 3) can you help?
Hmm... the titanium rings can be a bit trickier to read but it shouldn't be such a problem. Can you still remove the back of the opo3 or is it a metal unibody device?
