Hi guys!
I've made a video to help you setup the unlock app.
Please leave me some feedback and tell me how I can improve for future versions.

RE: Unlock was working, now I have to use my pin instead
It seems like your tag is either overwritten or some application is stopping the unlock app from registering the ring.
please try to remove the tag in the unlock app an then add it again. Please note that the tag which is used for unlocking (with the NFC ring unlock app) can not be used for something different than unlocking.
hope this helps.

RE: Android Lollipop Trusted Device + NFC Ring = perfect
Hi @Wolfgang
I suggest using either the NFC ring lock screen or the stock Android one with trusted device. Since you have a Nexus device use the stock lock screen and the trusted device functionality since it provides a bit more security then the app.
Let us know if this solves your problem.

RE: Unlock app improvements list
I think it's a system sound so the only way to would be some systems settings. sadly android has no such setting.

RE: Locked out of my phone, no way to get in
you need to use the google account on which your phone is registered. Please also double check whether you write an capital letter at the beginning (due to automatic behaviour of the keyboard) as login credentials are case sensitive.
maybe @johnyma22 has some other tips -
RE: Locked out of my phone, no way to get in
If you have a phone with a newer Android version (I believe 5.0 or above) you can use the system integrated lock screen with the ring as a trusted device.
The NFC Ring team worked really hard to get this functionality in the core version of Android. -
RE: NFC Stickers, interest and design feedback?
They look cool but if possible I would also create some black/white ones because the orange is very bright and I wouldn't stick one on my desk because it wouldn't match anything in my room.
I think some locked orange stickers with the store URL would be perfect for marketing. -
RE: Error: 202 username xxxx already taken
It's used to get access to the NFC ring unlock app. If you install the unlock app it will initially ask for this code to verify you're an owner of an NFC ring

RE: Elechouse PN532 NFC Module V3 for Arduino etc.
Did you change the switches? the board has a different default mode

RE: Problem unlocking phone
check if you have other applications that use NFC running in the background (e.g. if you lock your device having the NFC ring control app open) as this will result in problems with directing the NFC input to the right app

RE: Unlocking windows 8 tablet using NFC ring
As far as I know there is no useful implementation for RT devices. I'm not sure if it's even possible since Windows Apps are quite limited.

RE: USB Stick NFC Ring Logging Into Desktop by Nairod 785
That's why my reader sits behind my monitor so I have to reach around and I don't trigger it by accident.
I have a weird issue with my leonardo. If I have it connected continuously to my computer (Win8.1) it will disconnect and reconnect after a while (hardware removed and hardware installed sounds).
Anybody an idea what the problem could be? Or is this "normal" behavior? -
RE: A big problem
Well actually the NFC standard is a subset of RFID. So it depends on the exact implementation of you schools system.
I think @Lokki can tell you more about the differences between NFC and RFID. But meanwhile I encourage you to read the Wikipedia articles about it (preferably in you own language ;-) -
RE: A big problem
There are also complete connected systems using NFC witch work with phones. I know a company here that has one of those.

RE: NFCring unlock app problem
please make sure you're entering the email address correctly. I believe the fields are both case sensitive.

We have offered to give them free license of our patent but they have refused
WOW, that's really stupid... seems like they want to have a bad cheap product.

RE: NFC Ring Unlock: Read error. Try again
sounds like it's the android system generating those messages. try to generate such a read error by moving the ring across your sweet spot while having your home screen displayed.
also try to just tap the ring once at the sweet spot to unlock.
I think the problem is that the phone scans your ring multiple times and in some of those it doesn't read the ring correctly.
maybe also try if this happens with the other side of the ring.
