    • RE: Helios and Horizon rough edge

@Je-Remy-Peters in my case the horizon is indeed the one where the black inlay seems to be coming off too.

    • Helios and Horizon rough edge

I have purchased a horizon, helios, signature and alpha rings. I am a bit surprised that the edge of the black tag on both the horizon and helios is rougher than those on the two others. When putting on a shirt or a coat for instance it seems to hook with the cloth a little bit and I'm concerned this might get worse. Anyone has the same experience, and is it actually ok?

    • RE: How do I get the Unlock App to bypass the Android lock screen?

@Jose That's actually how it goes by default on my phone when I enable NFC Ring unlock: first PIN then ring..

@Lokki I've been only using it since 24h, but with 4 rings and on 2 devices - so far so good :) I will report if it ends up failing.

You might want to try the SmartLock option in the android settings. The ring bypasses the lock without removing it.

    • Issues with NFC Ring Control app [Solved]

I have a few issues which might come from my misunderstanding of the app, so some help would be welcome:

      • The "Read" action sends me systematically to the browser app and opens nfcring.com/getStarted
      • Adding anything with Create>Link or Create/Text does not change the above behaviour
      • The Feedback action is inresponsive

      On a MotoX android 6.0.1

      [Update 24.06.2016]
I come to the conclusion that the NFC Ring Control app does not write to the ring. It reads correctly however what I wrote with the NFC Tools app.

    • Ring Unlock with Android Marshmallow

Pretty easy with the SmartLock on the newer android versions, which doesn't need the unlock app:

Settings >Security >SmartLock> Trusted Devices> Add Trusted Device > NFC

Tap your ring, name it, et voilĂ . Now you can keep your default android lock in case you're not wearing the ring, and the ring will bypass it.
