      Dear John and dear all,
Last month I received 4 rings and was really happy to see the project I backed was finally here :)
Unfortunately I've not an Android right now and I haven't yet tried them out…

      I backed a collection + 1 KS Limited ring.
What I had to receive was: an Alpha, a Stealth Bomber and two Normal rings.
What I actually received is: 3 normal ring, an Alpha Q/A failed and an Alpha Voucher.

      Now…

      • should I receive (whenever it will be available) a Stealth Bomber Voucher?
      • will the Stealth Bomber be both Normal and Alpha?
      • would it be possible to wait for the Stealth coming out and get an Alpha one with the Alpha Voucher and a Normal one with the other (due?) Voucher?
      • what will happen with the "Black Ring w/ black and carbon inserts" I ordered, instead of I received a "Titanium w/ black and black inserts"?

      Thanks

      Henry

Hi @henry86, unfortunately due to various issues PVD plated stealth bombers aren't going to happen, so no stealth bomber rings are ever going to be available.
Sounds like we might need a bit of clarification on how vouchers can/will work though.

Until we have something sorted with carbon fiber we wont know.

To answer some questions as things stand at current:

should I receive (whenever it will be available) a Stealth Bomber Voucher? <-- It wont be called a stealth bomber voucher, it will be a voucher though at some point.
will the Stealth Bomber be both Normal and Alpha? <-- No, we are currently developing the thinner ring only.
would it be possible to wait for the Stealth coming out and get an Alpha one with the Alpha Voucher and a Normal one with the other (due?) Voucher? <-- You can spend the vouchers we provide however you want.
what will happen with the "Black Ring w/ black and carbon inserts" I ordered, instead of I received a "Titanium w/ black and black inserts"? <-- Nothing, we're not making PVD plated rings at all at the moment.

Like we said in the updates we're going to issue vouchers once we figure out a way to put together a ring that is similar in design to the stealth bomber but it wont:
          a) be called a stealth bomber
          b) have any of the same properties of the stealth bomber

The thing to bare in mind is that the new product we make will be a completely new product and wont perform anything like the original NFC Ring.. That is ASSUMING we complete our R&D cycle and it passes our tests.. Just like the original NFC Ring the manufacturing process and materials can change and usually do during manufacture. It's far too early to say still, I update the IRC channel with info as it arrives but R&D cycles are slow and are often filled with blockers.

            All right, thanks.
            Now everything is clear.

One more thing: I'd like to exchange one of the ring I received with a smaller one, should I directly mail support@nfcring.com ?

            Thanks

            Enrico
