WIndows Phone

My rings final arrived today. Sizing and quality were outstanding.
I am running the latest build of Windows 8.1. Nokia 930
I was able to load my contact card and it works great, touching other NFC devices handed off my full "Contact Card", so well done.
One thing I did notice that the defaults loaded on the ring took me off to the nfcring website and asked me to download the app. Problem is it sent me to the Google Play store rather than the Windows Marketplace. You may need to update your code on that page to test the browser that is making the request and send to the right store.
Other than that great experience.

Thanks for your feedback. I'll hand that request to @johnyma22

Will sort this now

@nzCRMguy I just tested this and it's fine..
When I visit http://nfcring.com/getStarted it shows the link to NFC Ring Control which takes me straight to the Windows Marketplace..
I have a strong feeling your useragent is different from our check..
See https://github.com/mclear/nfcring-web/blob/gh-pages/getStarted/index.html#L87
Are you using the WP native browser? If so what version of WP?

Scumbag Microsoft. http://www.neowin.net/news/ie11-fakes-user-agent-to-fool-gmail-in-windows-phone-81-gdr1-update
So here is the deal.. It looks like our logic doesn't care if it fakes android, line 87 should be truthful irrespective..
@nzCRMguy can you do some more checks, perhaps revisit http://nfcring.com/getStarted and see if you still get the problem?

Just checked it and still sends me to Google Play. I cleared browser cache, still no change. I was using IE latest WP8.1 build (developer preview)

@nzCRMguy Please visit http://nfcring.com/getStarted/test.html from your phone and send me a screen shot of the alert that pops up
