      the additional inlays are only for KS backers so that's intended.

        "Just received my ring, a pre-order not a kick starter. Nothing was loaded onto it."

        This part is a bug, nothing being loaded onto it means it wasn't fully QA'd somehow... We have found that a few % of our rings have managed to get through both of our QA steps that are supposed to do this so we're investigating how this happened.

          Received my ring today.
          Same problem.

          Pre-ordered
          Stealth bomber
          Get started loaded

          I never received an unlock code with my confirmation email.
          This link: https://me.nfcring.com/validationCodeReset does not work. Same error as above.

          So what can I do with this ring? Knowing that the point was to unlock my phone.
          I already have lots of NFC stickers/tags.

            Just for clarification only KS backers received the unlock code via email and only KS backers get additional tags shipped with their ring.

            please give the team a bit of time to research this problem. we will definitely find a way to get the unlock app working for all of you (having a nfc ring).

              @NFCringTom has a workable solution in mind, just waiting on him to confirm best method of contact - it'll be a manual reissue of the validation code. Watch this space.

                  Mine is a KS ring, nothing was pre-loaded on it. I received the e-mail unlock - but the app still says "NOT NFC RING".

                            Yeah, emailed support@nfcring.com yesterday. All I received was an email saying to read the leaflet.

                                  If you're not having any luck, make sure that the subject line is clear - Unlock App Verification Code Request.
                                  There are so many support requests that you can get lost in the mix, so be quite clear about what you need.

                                            This must be a huge problem.
                                            1200 views of this thread and yet as far as I can tell the problem hasn't been solved.
                                            I've been holding tight since May when I was supposed to receive my ring.
                                            Now I'm holding tight for a verification code.
