      Hello everyone,

      I just got the ring and downloaded the unlock app. When trying to register, it says my username (me@mydomain.com) is already taken. That's a disappointing start. Can someone point me in the right direction?

      Thanks,

      Andrew

        if you are a kickstarter backer you've already received the verification code to the unlock app via email. search for it in your mails. if you don't find it you can reset the code here

            Am the only one who is completely missing what to do? In the nfc ring control app, I have a 'register' button, when I click this it asks me to scan the ring, when I scan the ring it asks me for an email and password, when I enter my existing email and password I get the same 202 error described in this post.

            I have the unlock code in my mailbox from the kickstarter campaing, however it doesn't mention anywhere where to use it...

              It's used to get access to the NFC ring unlock app. If you install the unlock app it will initially ask for this code to verify you're an owner of an NFC ring

                @vyruz

                See @Lafunamor response. To add, you only need to use the REGISTER function in the Ring Control app to register with a NEW email and password, if you ever need to.
