    • RE: Nexus 7 not recognizing ring

      @Lokki
My app is registered as far as I can tell. I received the email in January, clicked the link & installed the app.
I do not however have an option for adding keys.
      Only:
      Create Actions
      Read
      Settings
      Register
Feedback (which does not work BTW)

Yes, but my question is how?
It is not recognized by the app as a ring so how do I do it?

    • RE: Nexus 7 not recognizing ring

      Update:

I tried the ring and tags with a Nexus 5 today. It recognizes the tags but not the ring. So I believe the ring shipped defective.

Also, when the app reads the additional tags is pops up:
      "ALERT
      Not NFC Ring"

So how am I use them as backup keys?

    • Nexus 7 not recognizing ring

      Device: Nexus 7 2013, Android 4.4.2

I fear this ring does not work. My Nexus 7 can read other NFC tags, like the ones included (btw what do I use those for?) but it will not recognize the NFC Ring.
I have tied everything I could find online before I resorted to emailing support.

      I have:

      • slowly covered the whole surface with both sides of the ring. Multiple times and also at different angles.
      • determined it is not my device because it works fine with other tags.

      What is the next step?

      Thanks,

      Phillip C.
