My preference would be option two, followed by one then three. I really like the project. I really want a working ring. I don't mind spending a little more to get one and shipping my ring back is a small inconvenience for me.

RE: NFC Ring arrived DOA. Replacement process?
I'm pretty sure mine is DOA. I've looked at those threads and the return policy and I seem to be stuck at step two of the replacement process.
The Replacement Process
- The ring bearer should contact support@nfcring.com in the first instance
- The ring bearer should be offered a choice of:
- Purchasing an additional second ring and being refunded when their original ring arrives with us.
- Purchasing an additional second ring at a heavily discounted rate.
- Sending their current ring back and receiving a replacement ring in due course.
I've contacted support@nfcring.com a few times and haven't heard back about the process or my options for getting a replacement.
Thanks,

NFC Ring arrived DOA. Replacement process?
So it turns out my ring simply does not work. It wasn't registering with the NFC Ring Android app so I used the Android app NFC Tools Pro to verify the ring cannot be read. I have a few different NFC tags that do work and the included NFC sticker works fine. I tried on my Nexus 4, Nexus 5, & (2013) Nexus 7. None of them have cases or obstructions to interfere with reading NFC tags and they all behave the same. Everything but the Ring are detected.
How do I go about getting a replacement ring for this one? In an email John McLear said the process starts with creating a thread in the forum. Hopefully this is the correct place to start.
Thanks,
paul
