Never received rings from Kickstarter campain



  • Hi I never received my rings from the Kickstarter camping. I messaged John through Kickstarter and was told to email support I email support but it took months for a reply which was simply 'did you get a shipping notice' - which I did not .. any further submissions are ignored and not replied to. What avenues are left for me to get the items I pledged for (more then one ring).

    Was this is a ring from the 2013 or 2016 campaign?

    If support emailed you and asked if you got a shipping notice that's asking you if you received the notice saying your rings have shipped. As per the returns policy you have X duration to notify of missing / none shipped rings.

    "The ring bearer hasn't received their ring and has contacted us within 3 months of placing their order to notify us."

    Realistically if this is the 2013 campaign there wont be any thing we can do, the window for fulfilling missing orders for that campaign closed a few years ago.

    Lets talk about 2106. I backed both and while I was not happy with the 2013 campaign in the end - I've moved on though I did originally ask for a refund on the 2016 due to my annoyance with the way 2013 was handled. When it became clear that was not an option I completed the surveys and figured I would get the 4 rings I had pledged for - they would make good gifts. Though I suspected my request probably had me pulled to the end of the line for fulfilment I did still expect to have them sent.

    I replied to that email - no I did not receive a shipping notice. They never replied again to me after that. They did not reference the terms you have referenced. The person who last replied was yourself.

    As per the returns policy you have X duration to notify of missing / none shipped rings.

    OK ... was that publicised on the Kickstarter? I must have missed those terms. In any case I don't think that time period is an issue here as I have tried to contact NCF through various channels and have this resolved throughout the year.

    Did you notify support within 3 months?

    I'm not actually certain when that 3 months started (or ends). As I never received a shipping notice nor saw an update from Kickstarter advising all items were shipped (ie start worrying x weeks from that point).

    Do you remember if you completed the survey?

    Yes I have the Kickstarter email.
    Survey Submitted: Date: 13 January
    Survey Dead line was 1st Febuary.

    There were still comments about delay shipments and items into February. And being in Australia it takes some time to get here.

    In April I messaged you directly via Kickstarter about not recieving anything, and dumping a whole lot about other issues I had with the campaign and so on. Your response was to contact support directly as " as the campaign is fully closed" .

    So if the deadline to contact was 3 months and the Survey was open until February and you were shipping in February then I don't think contacting in April was too late.

    I did send a email to support@nfc... along with a copy of my survey response.
    It took until the 7th of June for an "Automated" reply to come advising my ticket was in the system.

    During this period I had some 'real world issues' and it was not a priority for me to follow up on this. I never received a reply to that ticket until I prompted by emailing again and have been emailing every few weeks since September.

    I'd just like the rings I pledge for sent through.

    "OK ... was that publicised on the Kickstarter?" -- Yea, http://nfcring.com/returns - it's always been the same policy since 2013.

    So it looks like your rings were already sent and signed for and that's where the problem lies. I can see a shipping notification was sent to you and tracking number provided via email but because it was so long ago the tracking # has expired so I can't check to see who signed for your package.

    What's your support ticket #?
    What did you pledge for?

    I will see what I can do as a sign of gratitude for you backing the campaigns :) I will have to go off piste and sort this myself because according to our system your order has already been fulfilled so I wont be able to take stock rings for you.

    There were few things in your reply above I have issue with. However seeing as I am making some headway through this forum I'm mainly concerned with the statement;
    " I wont be able to take stock rings for you."
    I'm not sure exactly what that means - it implies I may not get what I pledged for. Surely rings are not 'build to order' (I guess you could be referring to stock levels - Helios,Horizon and Vintage show as in stock today - but that is not how it reads).

    Hey Jamie, okay no problems.

    So like I said before our system shows your rings shipped and signed for but because it's been so long the tracking / signature is no longer available so I can't see "who" signed for them. We're outside of our window of resolving this but because you have been so supportive of the project and because we value your support I will get some rings shipped out to you.

    I just need one favour please.. To cover our shipping and admin fees and so you are setup as a customer on the store can you please make a purchase of https://store.nfcring.com/products/admin-handling-fee ? It should ask you for a name/address etc. Be sure to use the name and address you want to ship to.

    Once you have that purchase in place please msg me with your required ring sizes and I can add the additional line items to that order.. I will see if I can chuck in some additional goodies to cover the headache too :)

    Hi John, so I received an email saying my order 7580 had shipped on the 23rd of November. It did not have a tracking ID - do you have one I would expect it to take 2-3 weeks to get to me .. but Christmas is upon us now.
