@jasok2 :) Yep and remember what journalists write is often incorrect.

The Engadget article is inaccurate and unfortunately Engadget didn't even attempt to contact ourselves or Visa before publishing...

While I appreciate the coverage the journalist dropped the ball here by not reaching out to me/us..

So yeah, TLDR; don't believe what you read in tech blogs :P *Source: Silicon Valley.

Hey @jasok2 -- yeah a bunch of people have them and some (very selective) pre-orders have shipped, full details haven't yet been disclosed as they vary depending on the recipient :)

I can rapport that the visa ring looks badass. No Epoxy, no inlay visible! It's all one big "unibody" design. There's no visible seam either! Crazy! 2017 will truely be amazing.

As a fan and owner of both an original and ceramic ring, I am excited about this. I'm also a fan of android pay, and used it quite a bit until safetynet started tripping even with only a bootloader unlock. I'll keep my custom ROM over android pay.
How does this affect the ring? Does it require stock firmware?

@three-west The ring is completely self-contained and doesn't require anything other than a contactless payment terminal to work its magic.
