There is also NFC on the Apple watch

Yea, watched the live show thing. Very interesting. Still, a bit concerned it will be some locked down, proprietary bullshit though. Done a little light hunting around online, but haven't found much out about the chips yet.

Yeah I watched the live stream as well... at least sort of... Boy was that a crappy stream.
We will see what Apple is doing with it's NFC chip -
I'm expecting the need for a jailbreak initially for unlocking via NFC... but in the past Apple have actually paid attention to what the jailbreak community does and later incorporated those hacks into iOS. So the fact that it's there at all is a good thing!
