So my phone is locked and unable to be opened... now what

Locked the phone - after testing it. Added gmail account details as well.
Phone won't unlock with ring, or with gmail account.
What now? Trash the phone?

I found on mine that a reboot seemed to work (Note 3) followed by a swift uninstall of the app

you should setup the pin code in the app.

@MichaelB you're possibly using google 2 step authentication which would require you to create a temporary application specific password for use with the unlock screen bypass. Then set a pin in the unlock app.
