Ring Controll app says not NFC Ring

Using my NFC Ring in the ring control app detects my ring but tells me that it isn't an NFC ring

I have a stealth bomber ring (normal) This error occurs on my N4 and N7 (2013) but if it reads the tags on the ring it loads the nfcring.com/getStarted site.

I have my ring working, But it is still worrying to have the ring show as not a true NFC ring, is this an issue that can be looked at?
