How do I register my ring?



  • I just got my ring in the mail today. I installed the app and when I attempt to register my ring it asks for my email and password (x2). I enter them but am told the email address is already in use. I don't see anywhere to enter to code which is moot, anyway, as I don't seem to have an email with any activation code in it.

    Having the same issue and don't have an email with a verification code. NFC Ring support directed me here rather than re-sending my verification code. When I tried to reset the code, their site said changing my password worked yet when I get back into the app, I get an "Error 202 Username already taken".

    Any help here from the creators or others who have figured out this issue will help us. Thank you.

    Did you guys obtain a reset code when you went through that process? I believe that should be the password you need to use?



  • The code we received in the mail was for the Ring Unlock app app and not for the Ring Control app.
    And the Unlock app code does not work for the Control app.

    Yes.

    Use your single sign on details for the control app, and the code you received in the mail for the unlock app.
