Just got my ring...here are my thoughts
-
Hi!
I just got my ring Monday. I didn't get a shipping notification, so it was a big (and very welcome) surprise. (Someone might want to look into that. There may be others hounding you for status updates that just didn't get an email.)
Here are my thoughts and questions:
-
GREAT PRODUCT. Works well with my Note 2 when worn on my left index finger. Friends and family are impressed when they see my "ring with a computer chip in it" as they put it. Ladies love it. (Ok, so that's a lie.)
-
Mine fits perfectly at the moment, but can this ring be resized should I grow old and fat? I would imagine there are curvature issues with the clearcoat and maybe the inlays themselves.
-
I had the misfortune of ordering a ring with carbon fiber AND transparent inlays, both of which suffered delays. So what I received was black and clear instead. We are still getting another carbon ring, correct?
-
I'll bookend this with more kudos for a great product and all the time/energy/patience put in to making it right rather than compromising.
Thanks for listening!

Hi @Chris164
I'm glad you like the ring! It will take them some time but yeah you'll receive a coupon for your CF ring (if it gets available). -
@Chris164, I'm afraid resizing titanium rings is a can of worms no jeweller will want to open. It's just too difficult to accomplish in any reasonable way. Still, excellent that you've got it now! Time to start inventing new uses for it, maybe hack something together (the ladies love random electronics too).
-
probably you'll want to upgrade it later anyway (to a version 2,3,...)

FWIW I heard that an "easy" way to resize a titanium ring is to shave off some of the material on the inside of the ring, basically kind of like converting a comfort fit ring into more of a straight ring. It will definitely allow a better fit for a bigger finger, but it doesn't really give you that much flexibility of enlarging a ring more than say 0.5-1 US ring size.
