Black is too contrasting. Transparent/Transparent and White/Transparent would be better. The former is definitely cool, but the latter would be hard to tell unless there's a picture of it.

That's very cool. English would be great for everyone, but I can read French just as well. Keep it up! Can't wait for your next update ;) Lâche pas la patate!!!

RE: NFC Ring + OnePlus One
I use my rings on a daily basis. I used it with a Samsung Galaxy Note 2 LTE and now Oneplus One (for a couple of years now). I used my rings for unlocking my phones via Google's NFC Smartlock and NFC Ring's app (1 ring to unlock both; otherwise, input 2 different PINs). The other tags of the rings are used to toggle wireless (wifi/LTE/bluetooth/GPS), toggle brightness.
I've used them from Android Lollipop to now Nougat, stock and custom roms on both phones. What's nice with the NFC reader on the Oneplus One is it sits right on my index finger and it reads it pretty well (90% of the time) if I just tilt my ring on my index slightly out.
I'm also a backer for both NFC Ring campaigns. I have enough rings to feel like wearing 2 Infinity Gauntlets...

RE: Ring Sensitivity after usage
Well, it's been 2 months now. One of the 2 tags on that Alpha ring has stopped functioning completely. I was provided with the option of either replacing it or purchasing another alpha ring at a discounted price. I chose the latter option and that one worked really well.

RE: Ring Sensitivity after usage
Great, after I submitted the email to support, the "defective" side of the ring starts working again. It refused to work last night and this morning at home. I'll keep a close eye on it

Ring Sensitivity after usage
Hi,
I've been using my Alpha ring for ~9 months now to unlock my phone and all. Lately, I have found that it took longer to unlock. This morning, it stopped working. At first, I thought it was a misbehavior with software or my phone's NFC is acting weird. However, when I assigned the unlocking part to the other side of the Alpha, it worked flawlessly and very quickly too. I used the provided NFC Ring Control app and it was unable to read it at all.
I know there's a read and write cycle limit, but could the daily use of the ring make it less sensitive and over time stops working (because of this read cycle limit)?

This looks fantastic. I'm curious, @MrStein, ou wrote "The keys are currently in this version to avoid problems related to the anti-starter. It will be neutralized (bypassed) later on." in the first video. Did you insert the keys in the "On" state in your car before scanning your ring? Great project!
