Yea I know that. but it did help me find the "read spot" and i kept the ring there to get it to work with no luck...

Yea i tested it with the bear tag and it worked just fine. but with the ring it was a different story...

correct. and both side wont read.

both the older version and the newer version of the nexus 7

well for the most part that post says everything that i have tried. and i have found the "sweet spot" on my phone. with still no luck.
So the ring is bad?

Okay. I have gotten one of my rings in so far and it will just not work on my phone. I have also tried it with other devices like a Nexus 7 tablet and a Blackberry Bold
My phone is a Samsung Galaxy Nexus.

I had notice a small nfc tag in the ring bag and tried that with my phone and it worked just fine.

I contacted support and was told to come here..
What do ya think?
