Iphone 7 with NFC ring?

Has anyone had any luck using the NFC Ring with the iPhone 7 with their new NFC capabilities?

Apple has locked down the NFC capabilities of their phones towards using apple pay, there's not much we can do about that. While they announced that it will be available for developers, I am uncertain of if we will see things like unlock with nfcring will be accepted into the app store.

It is possible to read the ceramic rings with an iPhone 7 and up, with iOS11+ installed. But as Andreas said - Apple have still locked things down for the most part. You would have to write to the ring using a different device, generally speaking.
