Is it possible to make Payments (NON - bitcoin) with the ri?

I don't use bitcoin and don't plan on using it... Is it possible to program the ring to use for credit card payments? And, if so, how?

It looks like unless a major banking organisation sponsors that functionality it won't be possible for the moment. Maybe send a feedback note to your banking organisation and suggest to them that it'd be cool and desirable to have a ring-based payment device.
