List of known door locks that do and dont work with NFC ring
-
should we start a new one of these for the door locks compatible with the new rings ? does anyone know if there will be more door locks compatible with the new ring ?

Pretty much if they work with the 2013 ring, they'll work with the 2016 ring, just better. If they didn't read NTAG203 they won't read NTAG216 though.
I've tried the new ring on my dodgy back door lock, the one that refuses to read NTAG203. Doesn't work.

Recently went down to my local hardware store where they had these locks on display:
- Samsung SHS-3321
- Samsung SHP-DS510
- Gainsborough GDBSTESC
They all recognise the NFC ring.

@jeworge the 2013 ring or the 2016 ring ?

@jasok2 I used my 2016 ring.

Thanks to @Nephiel and @jeworge for that info! :)

My 2017-ring does work together with my ID-lock
It's a lock from Norway... http://idlock.no/ or http://idlock.se/ -
I have a 2016 ring which will not work with my Samsung SHS-D500
The specs in the locks manual say it will register anything compliant to ISO 14443 Type A
Which is the same standard as the NFC ring.It's strange as i've had no trouble registering it with a Yale 3109 and Samsung SHS-3321
Anyone able to shed some light on why this might be?

My ring (NTAG216) works perfectly with the Dorma Kaba evolo cylinder when using a Mifare master card. I assume it won't work when you use a Legic master card however I have not tested this.
