Additional to this, I and the others are already going out of our way to help. It makes our job easier when we do it on the forums, so that other people who have the same or similar questions can simply read the forums for answers.
This is how forums work.
So, unless you have a huge issue please don't abuse the system by using chat to get help. I will do what I can but others who come after you are disadvantaged by this and using the actual forum is far more desirable. Sending me a chat message that seems like there's a real problem which I will chase via email and then asking for coding help via email is not on.
I could do this, but I would require you to pay me per hour for this service. The rate per hour would be exceptionally high because I simply do not want this happening. Easier for everyone if you simply start a thread and ask for help here.
What sort of ring is it? If it's the silver titanium one then irritation would be rare as titanium is supposed to by hypoallergenic. Or is it the stealth bomber with the coating that may be causing irritation?
I suspect it's more that the skin underneath is damp for too long, for whatever reason. So less a reaction to the ring and more a reaction to skin being covered by the ring in a way different than paulguy is used to not having worn one before.
Orders for certain rings that had carbon fiber were changed automatically - so if the inlays were two different base colours then you wouldn't have gotten an email ie, white/black cf or silver/black cf will automatically change the cf inlay to standard black. Rings where the inlay base colour was the same would have triggered an email request for you to choose between black/white/transparent for the inlay that was carbon fiber before. Everything else at the moment like alpha/normal or titanium/black metal colours are locked in as far as I know.
If you originally ordered a Stealth Bomber with the black carbon fiber inlay then the ring will now be black metal, black private inlay and black public inlay.
If your ring was changed then you get the voucher for another ring but if not then you will still receive the 25% off discount voucher for your first order and pre-orders are opening very very very soon.
Ouch. Looks as though your original data was lost mate. That's a bit of a pain, email a reply to that with your ring size and that you'd ordered a Stealth Bomber. Should be to email@example.com
skaiiol: The first email we sent out unfortunately cropped off part of multi-ring orders. :( We quickly re-arranged the data and sent another email with the subject line: (FIXED!) Confirmation of your NFC Ring Order, which showed the full details.
Both mail are wrong, so I sent a ticket. Thanks for the advice.
And thanks for the picture ! I totally missed it when this update happened
I stepped back from this thread because we seemed to be in a bit of a feedback loop there, so I apologise if I came across the wrong way. I had seen this as a lack of information and or understanding and had approached it that way which obviously didn't work out for any of us.
I'd just like to point this out, I'm not sure how many of you out there use Reddit (it says there are 47 readers but not everyone will be registered) but I personally think everyone should see this post.
Not the initial one, but read through and see John's response regarding the carbon fiber nightmare. It helps put things in perspective a little.
If you want it to be super discrete you could put the mark on the private side wall so that you see it if you look along your finger. That way there's nothing marring the top of the ring which everybody sees.
